For DC voltage ranges from 600mV to 600V, the specified basic accuracy is ±(0.5% of reading + 4 digits). The 1000V DC range has a specified accuracy of ±(0.8% + 15 digits).
NCV and LIVE Wire Detection
NCV mode detects induced voltage without requiring the probes to contact a conductor. The LIVE function uses a single probe to help distinguish between live and neutral wires.
NCV and LIVE functions are intended for preliminary screening only. Always verify that a circuit is de-energized using an appropriate contact measurement and follow applicable electrical safety procedures before touching conductors.

No. Voltage, current and resistance ranges are selected directly using the rotary dial. The capacitance function automatically switches between its supported ranges.
What is the maximum voltage range?
The NF-628 measures up to 1000V DC and 750V AC. Never exceed the limits printed on the product, manual or test probes.
Can the NF-628 measure 20A?
The available AC and DC current measurement range is up to 10A. It should be listed and sold as a 10A multimeter, not a 20A multimeter.
Can it identify live wires without using both probes?
