Notice:Problems that should be paid attention to when using infrared thermometers.

1. Only can measure the surface temperature , can’t measure the internal temperature.

2. The wavelength above 5 um cannot be measured through quartz glass. Measuring glass temperature for reflection and transmission properties does not give accurate temperature readings.

3. Locate the hot spot. To find the hot spot, the instrument should aim at the target, and then scan the target up and down until the hot spot is determined.

4. Fog, dust, smoke and other factors will affect the energy value of infrared radiation of the receiver mobile phone. This affects the accuracy of the temperature value.

5. Ambient temperature, if the thermometer is suddenly exposed to an ambient temperature difference of 20°C or higher, allows the instrument to adjust to the new ambient temperature within 20 minutes.

 

In order to measure the temperature, point the instrument at the object to be measured, press the trigger to read the temperature data on the LCD of the instrument, and ensure that the ratio of distance and spot size, and the field of view are arranged.
